Housed in a converted farm steading a stone’s throw from the historic Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle, we pride ourselves on the warmth of our welcome, award-winning food, real ales and extensive wine list.
Relax by the roaring fire in the cosy bar, enjoy a coffee in the lounge or sip a refreshing glass of wine in our award-winning garden terrace.
Our restaurant has won the hearts (and stomachs!) of locals and visitors thanks to our delicious range of dishes based on locally-sourced seasonal ingredients. Choose from our daily seafood market specials, traditional brasserie favourites and children’s menu.
We also boast fabulous function suites which can be used for weddings, civil ceremonies or private parties and functions.

MALT AND ALE BAR
The lounge bar incorporates a log fire that creates a very friendly atmosphere. Here you can enjoy your pre-dinner drinks or your after dinner coffee.
We also have another lounge bar where you can relax with your choice of some light bites or enjoy a nice meal.
Outside there is seating for approximately 100 in a choice of 2 beer gardens featuring a permanent BBQ area in the courtyard. There are 2 new outside smoking areas which are both covered.
OUR Dining ROOMS
Our informal wine bar bistro is situated in an authentic farm steading conversion which has retained many original features, metalwork and farm implements, offering a more relaxed eating experience.
The atmosphere is quieter during the day and comes alive in the evening. We offer both traditional favourites and more international dishes.
Our restaurant has won the hearts of many local and visiting guests. The food is superb, but the popularity is enhanced by the people who work there – nothing is too much trouble.
The restaurant is a delightful place for all sorts of occasions – it is one of those venues that offer something for everyone and at extraordinary good value for money.
OUR Function Rooms
Our private suites are flexible enough to accommodate almost any function – from weddings, civil partnerships and birthdays to funerals, staff parties and engagement parties.
And with a large private garden, barbeque and decking area, your event can have that extra dimension.
Our fully accessible Lomond Suite boasts a private bar and a dancefloor and we can also help supply music (either background or a DJ) and offer a range of buffet or barbeque options.
The Birds and Bees is also fast becoming one of the popular venues in Central Scotland in which to hold your wedding. With two flexible function suites and an extensive garden seating area, we can accommodate around 130 with seating for 100.
